I recycle, but I’m not a tree-hugger. I eat healthy, but I’m not a vegetarian. I exercise, but I’m not a gym rat. I occasionally make art, but I’m not an artist. I believe in God, yet I’m not religious. I like sports, but I’m not a sports fan. I’m generally nice, but I’m not stupid. I’m belligerent, but never disrespectful. My job is to seek justice, yet I’m not self-righteous.
That being said, I’m a United States Marine. “No better friend, no worse enemy.” I take that very seriously. If you ask me a question, make sure you’re ready for a no-bullshit response. I’m not looking to embarrass, hurt or be condescending towards anyone. It doesn’t have to be personal.
